Speech Contest 2019

The Phoenix Verulam Tongaat Foundation Phase Speech Finals were held on the 28 August 2019 at Whetstone Primary School.
Fareeha Mohamed Grade R was placed 1st
Malaika Govender Grade 1 was placed 1st
Jemimiah Elise Sampson Grade 2 was placed 2nd
And Lareece Lee Munthree Grade 3 was placed 2nd

The InterSen Phase Speech Contest Finals was held at Sunford Primary School on the 29 August 2019.
Yeagan Moodley Grade 6 was placed 1st
And Elijah Bastien Sampson Grade 7 was placed 1st

There were over 80 schools that participated. Whetstone Primary School earned an amazing over all win of 1st place in both Foundation and InterSen Phases in the Phoenix, Verulam and Tongaat Speech League.
This is a great achievement for the school and learners. The principal, staff and SGB wishes to congratulate these learners for their sterling efforts.
