Fun Walk/Fete 2019

Whetstone Primary School held an exciting Fun Walk and Fete on Friday the 22 February 2019. It was a fun filled day, enjoyed by all learners, parents, staff and special guests. This year’s theme was entitled “superheroes and respect”. Learners carried beautiful banners and wore badges to show case their superhero and their messagr on respect. The excitement of the learners and parents were felt in the air. The main purpose of this event was to involve the community in a day full of outside activities, whilst fundraising. There was delicious food sold 8 different stalls and plenty of fun and games for the children and parents. Parents enjoyed the day with their children. Our winners for the day were Callie Chetty - 1st position, Aarya Naidoo - 2nd position, Gabriella Kisten - 2nd position and in 3rd position Fareeha Mahommed.

The Staff and Schools governing body wish to place on record their sincere thanks and appreciation to the parents, sponsors and special guests for ensuring this function was a great success.
